Victor Alexander, Jr., Founder, Attorney at Law
Vic Alexander is a native of Atlanta and a 1972 graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens. He received his law degree from the Woodrow Wilson College of Law in Atlanta and subsequently served as a law clerk for Claude Shaw, Chief Judge of Fulton County Superior Court and Eugene Gunby, Probate Court Judge, Fulton County. Mr. Alexander was appointed Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County in 1976 where he served for three years. Before opening his own practice, Mr. Alexander was the Assistant General Counsel for the State Bar of Georgia, practiced law for both The Hartford and Wausau Insurance Companies and served as staff counsel for MARTA. He is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Georgia where he serves on a number of committees, and the Atlanta Bar Association where he serves on the Workers’ Compensation Sub-Committee. LeRyan Lambert, Attorney at Law
LeRyan Paige Lambert is a native of Yuma, Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami in Florida and earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Lambert has considerable experience in workers’ compensation and personal injury law. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. F. Taylor Putney, Jr., Attorney at Law
F. Taylor Putney, Jr., has specialized in workers’ compensation law since 1983. He received a BA in Economics with high distinction in 1975 and his law degree in 1980, both from the University of Virginia. Taylor served as law clerk to the Honorable William C. O’Kelley from 1981to1983. He was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1980, and is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts and in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. Paula Ferguson Smith, Attorney at Law
Paula Ferguson Smith received her law degree from Vanderbilt University and was a cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama where she was recognized for outstanding academic achievements. After law school, Ms. Smith was a law clerk in the offices of Reid, Ricca & Rigell, P.A. in Palm Beach, Florida where she worked in insurance defense and workers’ compensation. She went on to become an associate lawyer in general practice with Boone & Davis, P.C. in Atlanta, then McLain & Merritt, P.C. specializing in workers’ compensation and insurance defense and finally was a partner in the firm of Whiteman, Smith & Hamilton, LLP where she also specialized in workers’ compensation defense. Ms. Smith is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, Florida Bar Association; and is active in promoting costs containment for the Florida and Georgia defense bar. Thoroughly familiar with workers’ compensation issues from the employer and insurance company side, Ms. Smith has worked with Victor Alexander, Jr. P.C. for more than six years.BAR ADMISSIONS
